Service-Learning in Partnership with TOUCH Community Services
As part of our Learning for Life (LLP) Programme, the Visual Arts Club collaborated with TOUCH Community Services, offering 21 of our members the unique opportunity to work alongside 10 artists with special needs on Thu 01 and Thu 22 Aug. Together, they co-created a series of artworks that reflect both creativity and collaboration. This meaningful experience not only allowed our pupils to refine their artistic skills but also fostered a deeper sense of empathy and awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with special needs. By integrating art, empathy and inclusivity, this programme provided an enriching experience for our pupils and made a lasting impact on the broader school community through the shared artwork.

Beyond the Label (BTL) Fest 2024
We are proud to share that two of our pupils, siblings Micah Tan Derui (3D) and Milla Tan Ruiqi (3D) performed for BTL Fest at Jewel on Sat 07 Sep. BTL is a nation-wide movement started in 2018 by the National Council of Social Service which focuses on addressing stigma and promoting social inclusion for persons with mental health conditions. Graced by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Ms Jane Ittogi, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Digital Development and Information, Dr Janil Puthucheary, and distinguished guests, BTL Fest 2024 brought together people from all walks of life to foster understanding and reduce stigma around mental health. The event saw over 3,500 attendees. Micah and Milla demonstrated our school value ‘Amazing Love’ by sharing how dance and sports help them to manage their emotions and how one can achieve mental wellness. The uplifting performances before a large audience was truly a feat for the P3 siblings. Great job, Micah and Milla!
